I co-authored a project which won 1st prize from the Bauhaus in Dessau in 2004.
The project signified the the first culmination of a deep interest in African cites. I learned photography by photographing in the streets and this urge to photograph citizens moving in cities has taken a natural leap to photography which now sees the built environment as equally important.
I have also been involved with African Centre for Cities which has organised a series of seminars concerned with African cities and the everyday.
